PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Pender County Clerk of Court Office is being investigated for embezzlement by the State Bureau of Investigation.
The SBI says they received a request in October from the district attorney to look into allegations of embezzlement.
The case has been referred to the Conference of DAs.
The investigation is ongoing.
